The first test between England and India ended today in a draw. English Captain Michael Vaughan [Knee Injury], Vice Captain Marcus Trescothick [Personal reasons] and Simon Jones [Injury] had to fly back to England prior to the first test. All responsiblities were on the new appointed captain Andrew Flintoff. Alistair Cook and James Anderson flew back in the middle of an 'A' tour to West Indies to join the squad for replacement. Alistair Cook made his mark by scoring a century and a half century on debut. England showed great class playing on subcontinental wickets. Learning the lessons from the tour of Pakistan I guess. I was expecting Simon Jones comeback after his Ashes heroics but his injury kept him away from the Pakistan tour and now it seems he won't be available for this tour as well. England's warhorse Matthew Hoggard was exceptional. He bagged 6 wickets in the first innings. England will focus on this tour very hard as they have a very good chance of winning this series.
